Unimpressed

I know, doesn't blog for age and then two in one day....
Recent changes in legislation has left my younger daughter distinctly unimpressed. Having gleefully dispensed with her booster seat last year, we had to go out and buy her a new one as she falls in to the sub 12 years old and below 113 cm or whatever the designated height is. The situation was not helped by the fact that she is a tad on the dinky side the majority of her friends are over the limit. She considers it most undignified and is not impressed by the fact she is also now barred from travelling in the front of the car - a facet I din't initially catch on to initially either.
The reason it came to mind is that we told her that it would also mean that whenever I had the Porsche she wouldn't be allowed to go out in it as there were no rear seats for her to sit in! All things considered, she took it very well.
Needless to say, both she and her booster seat went out for a ride (or two) over the weekend and her grin was a joy to behold. The Bose sound system also took a bit of a pasting!
